- Sounds like you set the Workbench to 24bit mode in Retina Emul. This
- particular configuration will allow you to display 24bit pics/anims in WB
- windows while keeping your WB environment as fast as possible because of
- the 4 color Workbench. Use Retina Emul again and make sure thw WB screen
- is the same as your 256 color screen mode that you've chosen. Then go
- back to WB prefs screenmode, and you should be able to choose between 2
- to 256 colours.
